Hi, I’m Sophie
I’m a university student, journalist and storyteller.
This blog is my space to explore all the thoughts that live between the lines of everyday life, from navigating early career chaos and university life, to feminist takes on pop culture and the bigger (and smaller) questions in between.
I’ve written for local publications, covered real community stories, and I’m passionate about making media feel more human.
When I’m not writing, I’m probably dancing, chasing good coffee, or deep-diving into whatever niche obsession I’ve picked up that week.
Thanks for being here. I hope you find something that makes you think, feel, or smile.
What you’ll find here:
- Feminist takes on pop culture
- Career advice from the early 20s trenches
- Honest opinion pieces about identity, purpose, and being “too much”
- My takes on the world, with a little chaos and a lot of care
A little about me:
I’m currently studying Media, Communications and Culture at university, freelancing for local publications, and building my portfolio one hot take at a time.
Writing has always been my way of processing the world, from news articles to diary pages to blog posts like these.
When I’m not writing, I’m dancing, watching way too many Tiktoks, or overthinking what font to use on Instagram.
I started this blog because I needed a space to write about things that actually mattered to me, and maybe to you too.
Let’s keep in touch
